John Leese

John joined the team in 2021, currently serving as its Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for directing and overseeing all financial, treasury, legal, tax, human resources, information technology and data analytics activities of WiseConnect. He has a passion for implementing scalable, automated workflows and technology-enabled solutions to support high-growth objectives, as well as delivering strategic business insight using data analytics platforms and easily digestible data visualizations.

John has held previous financial leadership positions as Vice President of Finance and Controllership roles at numerous PE-backed companies. He started his career in FP&A and then spent several years in public accounting at EY before moving back into the industry. A native Kansan, John earned both his undergraduate degree as well as his Masters in Finance degree from the University of Kansas. He also has a Masters in Accounting degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.  John has an active CPA license and he loves to learn and share knowledge. Outside of work, John is raising two young children alongside his wife.
